6WIND emporers customers and partners with a further commitment to quality

Paris, July 30, 2004 – 6WIND today launched its “Powered by 6WINDTM” quality assurance label to provide the company’s valued customers and partners the assurance of receiving best-in-class secure and robust networking solution.

This trademarked quality label has been designed to certify that any networking solution of 6WIND customers or partners using the 6WINDGate software has undergone stringent porting, integration and tests suites, carefully developed by 6WIND engineers to adhere to established industry standards worldwide.  Close to 4000 automated integration tests and use case scenarios, incorporating stringent test standards from international and local tests consortiums, enable 6WIND partners and customers to cut down end-product time-to-market by an estimated 30 percent.  This quality assurance process also speeds up the integration of new functionalities into a networking product by three times and reduces overall man-hours, significantly lowering overall development costs.

The label carries the association with 6WINDGate’s IPv6-ready certification by the global IPv6 Forum’s logo committee, as well as its award-winning and patented technology which has been successfully deployed in more than 80 advanced IP networking projects around the world.  Customers and partners who have received the quality assurance of being “powered by 6WIND” can be certain of using a feature-rich, future-proof, intelligent and mature IP communication piece that differentiates their products to be fully equipped for today’s and tomorrow’s networking needs.
