INSIDE Contactless named winner of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 OSEO prize in the Innovation category


Aix en Provence, November 9th, 2007: INSIDE Contactless, a leading provider of advanced, open standard contactless chip technologies, and leader in NFC technology, today announced the company has been awarded the Deloitte Fast 50 OSEO prize in the Innovation category.
Announced by Peggy Bouchet on November 8th, at the Palais de la bourse of Marseille, the award ranks the 50 fastest developing technology companies in South of France.

With 30 million units shipped of its MicroPass software platform, INSIDE Contactless growth forecast should be between 40 and 60% for the next 3 years.
With more than 12 years experience in building contactless chips, INSIDE Contactless has already been granted more than 55 patents, including several essential NFC technology patents.
INSIDE Contactless’ NFC technology is now powering more than a dozen of mobile handset models, as well as payment devices, smart cards and other applications.  Praised by consumers for its facilitating role in their daily transactions, it does apply to lots of market segments. This award celebrates the development achievements of INSIDE, which holds a greater than 70% market share ffor contactless payment chips delivered in the US market.

Comprised of regional and national OSEO delegates, the jury of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program rewards companies with the best R&D policy.
This annual ranking is also carefully looked at by investors as it does not unveil potentials but companies that have already proved their capacity to create and innovate. 
Prizewinners are therefore well positioned to establish preferential relations with leading investors and financial service providers.
