Clinical data will be presented during satellite meeting at "TCT 2009" on Sept. 22, 7:00 a.m. PDT, Room 124, Moscone Convention Center

PRINCETON, N.J., and PARIS, Sept. 14, 2009-Medical device pioneer Stentys announced today that the results of the 'APPOSITION I' clinical study-the world's first to treat patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) via a self-expanding stent-will be disclosed by Principal Investigator Dr. Christian Spaulding on Tuesday, Sept. 22, during the upcoming TransCatheter Therapeutics ("TCT") 2009 annual scientific meeting.

The self-expanding feature, unrivaled in the stent industry, is designed to insure optimal apposition of the stent in the critical initial hours and days after an AMI procedure by being continuously applied to the vessel's internal surface during thrombus and vessel spasm relief-thereby avoiding malapposition, a significant concern to cardiologists.

The Stentys meeting, to be chaired by Dr. Maurice Buchbinder, also will include presentations from Dr. Stefan Verheye and Dr. Roxana Mehran.
