Sven Zimmermann joins PregLem as CFO

Geneva, Switzerland, 13 May 2008 – PregLem SA, a Swiss biopharmaceutical company specialized in reproductive medicine, is pleased to announce that Sven Zimmermann, a well-known biotech analyst at UBS Investment Bank, will become its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as of 1 June 2008. Eric Rolin, a co-founder of PregLem who has held the position of CFO until now, will continue to be active in the company and participate in its development.

Dr. Zimmermann, a German national, has been with UBS AG since 2001. He started as a buy-side global pharma/biotech analyst at UBS Wealth Management Research, based in Zurich. In 2004 he moved to UBS Investment Bank as a sell-side European biotech analyst based in Geneva and London, where he expanded the UBS European biotech sphere. Dr. Zimmermann obtained a PhD in molecular biology from the University of Zurich and spent several years as a researcher in the fields of oncology, diabetes and virology, with publications in top scientific journals. He studied for an executive MBA from the Graduate School of Business Administration (GSBA) in Zurich and the State University at Albany, New York.
